Info:
I bought a Killerspin Outdoor Ping Pong Table, the MyT7 table, for my wife for her birthday back in November 2020. Within a few months of using the table, it began to blister, crack, and peel on the top playing surface. The blisters became so bad that the table is unplayable. The ball could literally bounce anywhere when it makes contact with the table.
When I raised a concern with the quality of my table, Amazon directed me to Killerspin, who directed me back to Amazon.
I gave up because I did not have time to be ping ponged between two vendors who each thought it was the other’s responsibility to resolve.
The other day, I saw the table taking up space in my garage, which made me curious to see if any other issues had been reported. Though the reviews are mostly positive, there was one review that caught my attention. A woman claimed that she ordered an outdoor table and Killerspin sent her an indoor cheaper version instead. I began to inspect the material my table is made of, and it is not made of “quality aluminum-plastic top that is 100% weather resistant” Rather, it was made of a cheap particle board, whose layers are visible from the side and continue to separate.
I am experiencing the same issue reported in the Amazon review below. I did not receive the product I paid for, and expect Killerspin to supply me with the quality table I ordered, not the cheap one I received.
I ordered the table from Amazon on 11/29/2020. The order number is: 113-0303490-7069859.
